ER Registered Nurse - Full-Time Night Shift

Location: Mount Vernon, OH

Connected Health Care, a Joint Commission Certified recruitment and staffing firm, is looking for an experienced ER Registered Nurse for a client in Mount Vernon, OH. This full-time position offers a night shift, providing an exciting opportunity for nurses skilled in emergency care.

Job Description:

• Provide high-quality, urgent care to patients in the Emergency Room, including triage, assessment, and treatment of various medical conditions and emergencies.
• Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver timely and effective patient care.
• Administer medications, perform diagnostic tests, and manage critical situations with precision and care.
• Educate patients and their families about treatment plans, discharge instructions, and follow-up care.
• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient interactions and medical interventions.
• Respond swiftly to emergencies, ensuring patient safety and appropriate care throughout their visit.

Education + Certification Requirements:

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN preferred).
• Current RN license in the state of Ohio.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification preferred.
• Previous experience in an emergency room or high-pressure medical environment is highly desirable.
