Surgical Technologist (Scrub Tech) - Full-Time Day Shift

Connected Health Care, a Joint Commission Certified recruitment and staffing firm, is partnering with a premier healthcare provider in Mount Vernon, OH, to find an experienced Surgical Technologist (Scrub Tech). This full-time day shift position is ideal for individuals passionate about providing exceptional surgical care in a fast-paced environment.

Job Description:

• Prepare and maintain the sterile field before and during surgical procedures.
• Assist surgeons during operations by passing instruments and supplies, anticipating their needs.
• Ensure the availability and functionality of surgical instruments and equipment.
• Monitor and count surgical tools and sponges to maintain accurate records and patient safety.
• Adhere to strict aseptic techniques and infection control protocols.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure efficient workflow and optimal patient outcomes.

Education + Certification Requirements:

• Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program.
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential preferred.
• State licensure or eligibility as a Surgical Technologist in Ohio.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
• Prior experience in a surgical setting is preferred.
