Job Description:

As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will play a crucial role in our patient care team, working under the direction of physical therapists to help patients recover and improve their mobility. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Assisting patients with exercises and mobility training as outlined in their care plans.
• Utilizing therapeutic modalities such as electrical stimulation and ultrasound as prescribed.
• Documenting patient progress and communicating with physical therapists to adjust care plans as needed.
• Providing education and support to patients and their families regarding treatment plans and maintenance exercises.
• Maintaining a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.

Education & Certification Requirements:

The ideal candidate will possess:

• An Associate’s degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant in Ohio.
• CPR/BLS certification.
• Previous experience in a physical therapy setting is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
