Registered Nurse - Long Term Care 

Connected Health Care has been engaged by a rural critical access hospital to recruit LTC RNs to join their team near Blue Springs, NE. This facility places a huge emphasis on their employee’s success and career trajectory.

Requirements:

• Knowledge and content with English language.
• Ability to use mathematics to solve problems.
• Ability to understand written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents. 
• Ability to talk and communicate with staff and patients. 
• Ability to understand new information for both current and future problem-solving and decision-making. 
• Possess active listening skills 
• Ability to select and use training/instructional methods and procedures appropriate for the situation when learning or teaching new things. 
• Ability to monitor/assess performance of yourself, other individuals, or organization to make improvements or take corrective action. 

Job Responsibilities:

• Performs responsibilities related to the provision of resident care. 
• Participates as an effective member of the care team and performs in a team leas capacity for department workflow and activities, as assigned or requested by manager. 
• Provides and supports activities that insure and promote resident safety. 
• Communicate effectively.
• Collaborates with other health team members ensuring that they are kept informed of residents conditions and/or orders.
• Performs and maintains documentation in a compliant, accurate, and timely manner. 
• Participates in performance improvement and personal growth. 
• Complies with the state and federal regulatory requirements. 
• Participates in professional growth and development requirements and opportunities. 
• Work well with adults and geriatrics. 

Required License / Certificates:

• High school diploma or GED
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in Nebraska.
• Basic Life Support Certification
• Must be able to wear a medical grade respirator (ex: N95/PAPR)
