Connected Health Care is thrilled to partner with a leading healthcare facility in Onawa, IA, to find a dedicated X-Ray Tech for a permanent position. This is an excellent opportunity for radiologic technologists seeking a stable and rewarding career with day shift availability.

Job Description:

• Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures to produce high-quality images for interpretation by physicians.
• Prepare and position patients for X-ray examinations, ensuring their comfort and safety.
• Operate and maintain radiographic equipment, adhering to safety protocols and radiation protection guidelines.
• Review and evaluate developed X-rays to determine if images are satisfactory for diagnostic purposes.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide exceptional patient care.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
• Assist in maintaining an organized and clean work environment.

Education and Certification Requirements:

• Current and valid Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) license in the state of Iowa.
• ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification required.
• Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in diagnostic radiology preferred.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
• Strong technical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
