Job Description:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the Food and Nutrition department, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines and company standards.
  • Develop and implement nutritional programs to enhance patient care and recovery.
  • Manage a team of dietitians, nutritionists, and food service staff, ensuring smooth operations and high-quality service delivery.
  • Collaborate with other departments to improve the overall patient experience through food service and nutrition.
  • Monitor inventory, manage budgets, and implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising service quality.
  • Ensure that food safety standards and protocols are strictly followed.
  • Provide ongoing training and support to the nutrition team.

Education and Certification Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field.
  • Registered Dietitian (RD) credential is required.
  • Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) or similar management certification preferred.
  • 3-5 years of supervisory experience in food and nutrition services in a healthcare setting.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and nutritional guidelines.
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred.
