Job Description:
- Oversee the daily operations of the Food and Nutrition department, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines and company standards.
- Develop and implement nutritional programs to enhance patient care and recovery.
- Manage a team of dietitians, nutritionists, and food service staff, ensuring smooth operations and high-quality service delivery.
- Collaborate with other departments to improve the overall patient experience through food service and nutrition.
- Monitor inventory, manage budgets, and implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising service quality.
- Ensure that food safety standards and protocols are strictly followed.
- Provide ongoing training and support to the nutrition team.
Education and Certification Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field.
- Registered Dietitian (RD) credential is required.
- Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) or similar management certification preferred.
- 3-5 years of supervisory experience in food and nutrition services in a healthcare setting.
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and nutritional guidelines.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred.
