Registered Nurse - Cancer Center - Full-Time Day Shift

Location: Mount Vernon, OH

Connected Health Care, a Joint Commission Certified recruitment and staffing firm, is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse for a Cancer Center in Mount Vernon, OH. This full-time day shift position offers an excellent opportunity for nurses dedicated to providing exceptional care to oncology patients.

Job Description:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to oncology patients, including administering chemotherapy and other treatments.
• Monitor patient symptoms, manage side effects, and provide emotional support to patients and their families.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and lifestyle modifications.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in EMR systems.
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment.

Education + Certification Requirements:

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN preferred).
• Current RN license in the state of Ohio.
• ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Biotherapy certification preferred.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
• Previous experience in oncology or a cancer care setting is highly desirable.
