We are a leading healthcare facility known for our commitment to providing high-quality care in a compassionate and supportive environment. We are currently seeking a motivated and dedicated Director of Women's Services to join our team near Montgomery, Alabama.
Job Description:
As the Director of Women's Services, you will provide strategic leadership and direction for our Labor and Delivery and Nursery departments. This key leadership role is responsible for the overall management of our women's health services, ensuring the delivery of excellent patient care while maintaining high standards of professional nursing practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct the operations of the Labor and Delivery and Nursery units, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care.
- Develop and implement strategies for improving patient care, team efficiency, and facility performance.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations as well as with institutional/organizational standards, policies, and procedures.
- Manage the recruitment, performance, development, and evaluation of staff.
- Develop and manage budgets for the units.
- Foster a collaborative, positive, and professional work environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing required; Master’s degree in Nursing or Healthcare Administration preferred.
- Current and unrestricted RN license in the state of Alabama.
- Minimum of 5 years of clinical nursing experience in women's health services.
- Minimum of 3 years of leadership experience in a healthcare setting.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Commitment to providing high-quality care to all patients.
