- Setting: Emergency Room (ER)
- Salary/Hourly (Perm):Â $34.01 - $46.25/hr - Dependent on experience
- Shift: Nights – 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (3x12s)
- Schedule: Full-time
- Start Date: ASAP
- EMR System: EPIC
Job Responsibilities
- Provide immediate emergency care to patients with diverse medical conditions and trauma cases
- Assess, diagnose, and initiate treatment for cardiac, stroke, trauma, and critically ill patients
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and emergency interventions
- Collaborate with physicians, paramedics, and healthcare teams to ensure rapid stabilization of patients
- Operate and monitor emergency medical equipment
- Maintain accurate patient documentation in EPIC EMR
- Educate patients and families on emergency care follow-up and discharge instructions
Qualifications & Requirements
- License: Active Colorado RN License or Compact State License
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of ER nursing experience required
- Education: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required
- Certifications (Required):
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) or ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course)
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
- NRP (Must have within 3 months of starting)
- Recommended Certifications (Preferred):
- CEN (Certified Emergency Nurse)
- NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale Certification)
