Job Description

Full-Time Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) – Hutchinson, KS

Connected Health Care, a leading recruitment and staffing firm, is partnered with a top-tier hospital in Hutchinson, Kansas, seeking a dedicated Emergency Department RN for a full-time position. Job Description

  • Provide high-quality, compassionate care to patients in the Emergency Department

  • Rapidly assess and prioritize patient conditions, performing interventions as needed

  • Collaborate closely with physicians, EMS, and hospital staff to ensure optimal care

  • Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and manage life-saving equipment

  • Ensure accurate documentation and uphold best practices in patient safety and care

  • Support patient education and provide emotional support to patients and families

Education & Certification Requirements

  • Active Registered Nurse license in Kansas (or compact state license)

  • BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required (TNCC preferred)

  • Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department experience preferred

  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills

  • Excellent communication and decision-making ability in high-pressure situations
