Full Time Medical Technologist / Medical Laboratory Technician (MT / MLS / MLT)
Up to $35/hr | Full-Time | Day or Evening Shifts Available
Located Approximately 1.5 Hours North of Pittsburgh, PA

Position Overview
The Medical Technologist or Medical Laboratory Technician will perform routine and complex laboratory testing while ensuring accuracy, quality control, and compliance with all laboratory standards. This role is essential to patient diagnosis and high-quality care delivery.

Job Responsibilities

  • Perform clinical laboratory testing including hematology, chemistry, urinalysis, immunology, and blood bank

  • Accurately analyze specimens and report results in a timely manner

  • Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory instruments and analyzers

  • Follow established quality control and quality assurance procedures

  • Ensure compliance with laboratory safety, infection control, and regulatory standards

  • Communicate effectively with physicians, nursing staff, and laboratory leadership

  • Assist with reagent preparation, calibration, and inventory management as needed

Education & Certification Requirements

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science or related field

  • MLT or MLS/MT certification through ASCP, AMT, or equivalent required

  • Active or eligible Pennsylvania laboratory licensure

  • Previous clinical laboratory experience preferred; strong new graduates considered

  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative lab team

Compensation & Benefits
