Connected Health Care, a leading recruitment and staffing firm, is partnering with a respected general acute care hospital just outside of Wichita, Kansas to find a dedicated Full Time Med Surg Registered Nurse (RN). Position Overview
The Med Surg RN will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced acute care setting, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective treatment outcomes. This role offers both day and night shift options with a 3x12 schedule.

Schedule & Compensation

  • Full Time, 3x12 hour shifts

  • Day Shift and Night Shift available

  • Competitive pay up to $40 per hour

  • General acute care hospital setting

Job Responsibilities

  • Deliver comprehensive nursing care to adult and geriatric patient populations

  • Perform patient assessments, develop care plans, and monitor progress

  • Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders

  • Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and healthcare staff to coordinate care

  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation

  • Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions

  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and infection control practices

Education & Certification Requirements

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Kansas or compact eligibility

  • Associate or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (ADN or BSN) required

  • Current BLS certification required

  • ACLS preferred

  • Previous Med Surg or acute care experience preferred
