PCU Registered Nurse - Full-Time Night Shift

Location: Mount Vernon, OH
Pay: $29-$46/hr 

Connected Health Care, a Joint Commission Certified recruitment and staffing firm, is seeking a skilled PCU Registered Nurse for a client in Mount Vernon, OH. This full-time position features a night shift, offering an excellent opportunity for nurses passionate about providing specialized care in a progressive care unit.

Job Description:

• Provide advanced nursing care to patients in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU), including monitoring vital signs and managing complex medical conditions.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Administer medications, perform treatments, and monitor patient responses and progress.
• Educate patients and their families about medical conditions, treatment plans, and post-hospital care.
• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient care and medical interventions.
• Respond promptly to changes in patient conditions and emergencies, ensuring appropriate care and support.

Education + Certification Requirements:

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN preferred).
• Current RN license in the state of Ohio.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification preferred.
• Experience in a PCU or similar high-acuity setting is highly desirable.
