Full-Time CRNA – Watertown, SD
Connected Health Care, a premier recruitment and staffing firm, is seeking a Full-Time Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a critical access facility in Watertown, South Dakota. This position is ideal for experienced CRNAs with strong OB skills—epidurals, central lines, and blocks are essential. Join a team dedicated to delivering high-quality care in a supportive rural hospital setting.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesia care across a variety of surgical and obstetric procedures
- Administer regional anesthesia including epidurals and spinal blocks
- Insert and manage central lines and perform ultrasound-guided nerve blocks
- Monitor patients during surgery and adjust anesthetics as needed
- Collaborate closely with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare providers
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with safety protocols
- Demonstrate strong communication and leadership within the care team
Education & Certification Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited nurse anesthetist program approved by the AANA
- Licensed and registered as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist in the State of South Dakota
- Must have current ACLS, NRP, and PALS certifications
- Proven experience in OB anesthesia and critical access settings preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills and leadership ability essential
Physical & Interpersonal Demands
- Must be able to assist patients using proper body mechanics
- Requires a high level of social sensitivity and professional communication
- Independent judgment and initiative are key to success in this role
