Full Time Surgical Technologist

Job Description:

• Prepare and maintain a sterile field for surgical procedures.
• Assist surgeons during operations by passing instruments and anticipating needs.
• Operate and manage surgical equipment, ensuring all instruments are in optimal condition.
• Collaborate with surgical team members, including nurses and anesthesiologists, to ensure patient safety and procedure efficiency.
• Adhere to infection control policies and standards to safeguard patient health.
• Monitor surgical supplies inventory and ensure timely restocking of essentials.

Education and Certification Requirements:

• Certification: Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) preferred.
• Education: Associate degree in Surgical Technology or completion of an accredited surgical technologist program.
• Experience: At least 1 year of relevant experience in a hospital or clinical setting is preferred.
• Licensure: Valid certification through the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) or an equivalent certifying body.
