Full Time CT Technologist - Near Flagstaff, AZ
Connected Health Care is currently seeking a skilled CT Technologist for our client, a reputable hospital in Flagstaff, AZ. We are looking for a talented professional who is passionate about delivering high-quality patient care and has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Job Description:
- Operate computerized tomography (CT) scanners to produce diagnostic images of patients' internal organs and tissues
- Position patients correctly to get the best possible images
- Administer contrast agents when necessary
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret images and make diagnoses
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure the safety of patients during procedures
- Follow radiation safety procedures to protect patients, themselves, and other team members
- Maintain and calibrate equipment, as well as assist with quality control and quality assurance activities
Education and Certification Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program
- Certification in CT by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Current BLS certification
Experience Requirements:
- At least 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist in a hospital setting
- Knowledge of radiographic positioning and techniques, radiation safety, and patient care
