Job Description: As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. Duties include operating computed tomography (CT) equipment, preparing patients for procedures, ensuring equipment functionality, and maintaining patient records accurately.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting CT scans in accordance with physician orders and protocols.
- Positioning patients correctly and ensuring their safety and comfort during procedures.
- Operating and maintaining CT equipment, ensuring its proper functionality.
- Collaborating with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to analyze imaging results.
- Maintaining accurate patient records and adhering to regulatory standards and protocols.
Requirements:
- Associate's degree or higher in Radiologic Technology or related field.
- ARRT certification in CT.Â
- State licensure or eligibility for licensure in Nevada.
- Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
