Full-Time CT / X-Ray Technologist – Dothan, AL
Connected Health Care, a leading recruitment and staffing firm, is partnering with a trusted healthcare provider in Dothan, Alabama, to hire a Full-Time CT / X-Ray Technologist. This opportunity is ideal for imaging professionals seeking a stable, full-time role with the chance to expand their skills in both Computed Tomography and Operating Room imaging within a supportive clinical environment.
Position Overview
The CT / X-Ray Technologist is responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and accurate documentation. This role supports both CT and radiography services, including Operating Room imaging, and works collaboratively with physicians and clinical staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform CT and diagnostic X-ray examinations according to established protocols
- Provide imaging support in the Operating Room as needed
- Ensure patient safety, comfort, and proper positioning during procedures
- Accurately document imaging studies for physician interpretation
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot imaging equipment
- Follow radiation safety guidelines and departmental policies
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and surgical teams
- Maintain compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards
Education and Certification Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- Active ARRT certification in Radiography required
- ARRT certification in Computed Tomography preferred or willingness to obtain
- State licensure as required by Alabama regulations
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Experience Requirements
- Prior Operating Room imaging experience preferred; willingness to train if no prior OR experience
- Prior CT experience preferred; willingness to train in CT if no prior experience
