Full-Time Cardiology Physician - Albany, NY

Job Description:

  • Diagnose and treat cardiovascular conditions, including hypertension, heart disease, and arrhythmias

  • Interpret diagnostic tests such as EKGs, echocardiograms, stress tests, and cardiac catheterizations

  • Develop and manage treatment plans, including lifestyle counseling, medications, and procedures

  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team to optimize patient outcomes

  • Monitor ongoing progress and make adjustments to care plans as necessary

  • Educate patients and families on prevention, treatment options, and long-term cardiovascular care

  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations

Education & Certification Requirements:

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree from an accredited institution

  • Completion of an accredited residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship in Cardiology

  • Board certification or board eligibility in Cardiology

  • Active medical license in the state of New York or ability to obtain licensure

  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required

  • Strong communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills
