Connected Health Care has been engaged by our client, a state-of-the-art community based hospital in Sandusky, OH, to recruit a full time Cardiac Cath Rad Tech to join their team! Duties:
Operates diagnostic imaging equipment to produce contrast enhanced radiographs of heart and cardiovascular system (angiograms), during cardiac catheterization, to aid physician in diagnostic evaluation and treatment. Responsibilities include direct and indirect patient care, quality control monitoring and reporting and equipment maintenance. Assists with EP cases.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
Minimum: Graduate of Radiologic Technology program
Required: Cath Lab training
Registration/Certification/Licensure:
Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), Healthcare Provider CPR
Experience:
Current licensure in the State of Ohio as RCIS; RT(R, CV); prefer three years catheterization experience.
Attain and maintain current ACLS certification. Attain and maintain current BLS certification.
Critical thinking skills with the ability to respond appropriately to emergent situations.
Skilled in interpersonal communication and organization to effectively interact with patients, physicians, cath lab staff, and other Firelands employees.
