Cath Lab Technologist – Full Time - south of San Jose, CA
Connected Health Care, a leading recruitment and staffing firm, is seeking a Full-Time Cath Lab Technologist for a highly regarded hospital in San Jose, California. This role offers competitive pay, shift differentials, and the opportunity to work with advanced cardiovascular and electrophysiology technologies in a collaborative, patient-centered environment.
Job Responsibilities

Assist physicians in the performance of diagnostic and interventional cardiac and vascular procedures.

Prepare, operate, and maintain imaging and monitoring equipment during procedures.

Monitor patient vitals and respond to any changes during procedures.
-
Ensure sterile technique and proper handling of instruments and materials.
-
Document patient information, procedure details, and outcomes accurately in the EMR.
-
Maintain readiness for emergency situations within the lab.
-
Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless patient care.
Education Requirements
-
Graduate of CAHEP-accredited Cardiovascular Technology (CVT) program or

Completion of 2-year Radiologic Technology training program approved by the AMA (Required)
Licensure & Certification Requirements
For Radiologic Technology Program Graduates:

California CRT and Fluoroscopy license (Required)

Any combination of two of the following: CI credential from ARRT; RCES or RCIS from CCI; CEPS from IBHRE (Required)

Current BLS/Healthcare Provider certification per American Heart Association (Required)
For CVT Program Graduates:

Any combination of two of the following: CI credential from ARRT; RCES or RCIS from CCI; CEPS from IBHRE (Required)

Current BLS/Healthcare Provider certification per American Heart Association (Required)
Experience Requirements

Minimum 1 year of Cardiac Catheterization Lab experience (Required)
