Our client, a premier healthcare facility, is seeking a dedicated professional to join their dynamic team. This position offers a sign-on bonus ranging from $10,000 to $15,000 based on experience.

Job Description:

• Examine cell samples to detect abnormal conditions
• Use microscopes and other laboratory equipment to identify cell changes
• Prepare and stain specimens for cytological examinations
• Record and analyze test results, ensuring accuracy and precision
• Collaborate with pathologists and other medical professionals
• Maintain detailed patient records and laboratory data
• Adhere to safety and quality control procedures
• Participate in continuous education and training programs

Education & Certification Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Cytotechnology or related field
• Certification by the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) as a Cytotechnologist (CT)
• State licensure as required
• Minimum of 2 years of experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
