Connected Health Care is looking for a Director of Imaging for an established health system located in New York. If you are a seasoned manager/director looking for a new challenge with one of the most renowned health systems in the United States, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.


Directs, controls and is accountable for developing, coordinating and integrating imaging services for assigned community/communities. Responsibilities for some or all of the following departments including: Radiology, CT, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine, IR, and MRI. Has oversight and operational accountability for all assigned PeaceHealth Imaging sites. Develops long and short-term business strategies, operational plans and oversees implementation. Manages the design, structure, development and planning issues within scope of direction. Responsible for quality, service and regulatory compliance for areas of responsibility.

  • Provides leadership for operational effectiveness, clinical excellence and personnel management in accordance with PeaceHealth’s Mission, Vision and Values
  • Budgetary, fiscal and business planning that promotes revenue enhancements and cost efficiency. Develop, implement and monitor operating and capital budgets. Accountable for meeting budgetary and operational targets.
  • Establishes and maintains collaborative relationships with physicians, department managers, staff and customers.
  • Leads continuous improvement efforts and develops a culture for change within and between departments.
  • Develop annual objectives including goals and strategies for department. Creates and monitors infrastructure, systems, processes and standards to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Responsible for all legal, regulatory and certification requirements. Also complies with all applicable policies, procedures, codes and standards of the organization. Follow all local, state, federal law, OSHA standards, and hospital policies. Maintain appropriate records in an ongoing and orderly manner.
  • Directs recruitment, training, development and evaluation of staff. Assure the ongoing development and implementation of policies and procedures that guide and support the provision of services. Communicate policies and philosophy to staff.
  • Leads patient experience improvement efforts throughout imaging services.
  • Drives physician satisfaction with services for all imaging modalities.
  • Creates a work environment that fosters high levels of Caregiver Engagement.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Management, Healthcare Administration or related field.
  • Master’s degree preferred.

  • Minimum of 7 years of related experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years progressive management experience.
  • Must have comprehensive knowledge of Imaging Services.

  • ARRT Certified and licensed in the state of employment
  • Current BLS certification required at date of hire.
