Full Time ER Registered Nurse – Near Gallup, NM

Position Overview
The Emergency Room Registered Nurse provides rapid, high-quality care to patients presenting with urgent, emergent, and life-threatening conditions. This role requires strong critical thinking skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to patient-centered emergency care.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to patients in a busy Emergency Department
- Perform rapid patient assessments and triage based on acuity
- Administer medications, IV therapy, and emergency treatments per physician orders
- Monitor patient status and respond quickly to changes in condition
- Collaborate with physicians, providers, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Document patient care accurately and in compliance with regulatory standards
- Educate patients and families regarding treatments, procedures, and discharge instructions
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety guidelines, and emergency protocols
Education & Certification Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New Mexico or compact license
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- TNCC certification preferred
- New grads are welcome to apply
