Full-Time Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse – Dothan, AL
Are you a compassionate and skilled ICU RN looking to elevate your nursing career in a critical care setting? Job Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-acuity, lifesaving care to critically ill or injured patients
- Continuously monitor vital signs and respond promptly to changes in patient condition
- Collaborate closely with physicians, specialists, and multidisciplinary teams
- Operate and manage advanced life-support equipment, including ventilators and infusion pumps
- Administer medications, perform complex assessments, and document care accurately
- Support patients’ families with education and emotional guidance
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety protocols, and infection control standards
Requirements:
- Active RN license in the state of Alabama (or compact license)
- BLS-Healthcare Provider certification required
- ACLS and PALS certifications required within the first 6 months of hire
- Strong clinical judgment and ability to work in high-pressure environments
- Previous ICU or critical care nursing experience preferred
