Full-Time Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN) - Newton, Kansas

Connected Health Care is currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Labor & Delivery RN to join a highly respected healthcare team in Newton, KS. Position Details:

  • Job Type: Full-Time

  • Department: Labor & Delivery

  • Shifts: Days and Nights

Job Description:

  • Provide high-quality, compassionate care during all phases of labor and delivery

  • Monitor and assess fetal and maternal well-being throughout the birthing process

  • Collaborate with OB/GYNs, pediatricians, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals

  • Administer medications and assist in pain management techniques

  • Educate and support expectant mothers and families before, during, and after birth

  • Assist with postpartum care and newborn assessments

  • Maintain accurate documentation and follow all hospital protocols and standards

Education & Certification Requirements:

  • Active Kansas RN license or compact equivalent

  • BLS and ACLS certifications required (AHA preferred)

  • NRP certification required or obtained shortly after hire

  • Fetal Monitoring certification preferred

  • At least 1 year of recent L&D experience preferred

  • ADN or BSN required; BSN preferred
