Full-Time Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse – Nights - Salinas, CA

Connected Health Care, a premier recruitment and staffing firm, is currently partnered with a respected healthcare facility in Salinas, California to find an experienced and compassionate Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse for a full-time, permanent position. Position Overview:
As a Labor and Delivery RN, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional care throughout the childbirth process. You will support expectant mothers through labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery while collaborating closely with obstetricians, midwives, and neonatal teams.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct care and emotional support to laboring mothers and families

  • Monitor fetal heart rates, vital signs, and labor progress

  • Administer medications and assist with pain management techniques

  • Manage labor and delivery procedures, including emergency interventions

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective care

  • Educate patients and families about postpartum care and newborn health

  • Document care accurately and promptly in the medical record

Qualifications & Certifications:

  • Active California RN license – Required

  • BLS, ACLS, and NRP Certifications (American Heart Association) – Required

  • STABLE Certification – Preferred

  • Minimum of 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery experience – Preferred

  • Strong clinical and critical thinking skills

  • Excellent communication and patient advocacy abilities
