This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced MRI Tech to join a supportive team while living in one of the most scenic and vibrant locations in the U.S.
Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist to join our client's team in Arizona. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for performing high-quality MRI scans while ensuring patient safety and comfort. You will work closely with physicians, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver precise diagnostic imaging services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform MRI procedures as ordered by physicians, ensuring images are of the highest quality for accurate diagnoses.
- Assist patients in preparing for MRI exams, explaining the procedure and addressing any concerns.
- Monitor patients during MRI scans to ensure safety and comfort.
- Operate MRI equipment, ensuring proper maintenance and troubleshooting as needed.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of MRI exams.
- Adhere to all safety standards, infection control procedures, and radiation safety protocols.
- Ensure proper positioning of patients for optimal image capture.
- Work closely with radiologists and medical staff to discuss imaging results as needed.
- Provide excellent patient care, ensuring a positive experience and maintaining patient confidentiality.
Education & Certification Requirements:
- Associate's degree or higher in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
- Certification in MRI through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-MRI) is required.
- State licensure in Arizona as a Radiologic Technologist is required.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
- Experience in MRI procedures and imaging preferred.
- Strong knowledge of MRI safety protocols and equipment operation.
- Excellent communication and patient care skills.
