Full Time MRI Technologist – Near Snowmass, Colorado
Connected Health Care is partnering with a respected healthcare provider near Snowmass, Colorado to recruit a Full Time MRI Technologist. Job Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality MRI scans and diagnostic imaging procedures according to physician orders
- Prepare and position patients for MRI exams while ensuring comfort and safety
- Operate and maintain MRI equipment and imaging technology according to department protocols
- Monitor patients throughout procedures and respond to any medical or safety concerns
- Accurately document patient information and imaging results in the electronic medical record
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and healthcare team members to ensure accurate diagnostic outcomes
- Maintain compliance with MRI safety standards, radiation safety protocols, and healthcare regulations
- Ensure imaging equipment is functioning properly and report maintenance needs when necessary
- Provide compassionate patient care and clear communication throughout the imaging process
Minimum Qualifications & Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists – Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR) certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as an MRI Technologist
- Strong understanding of MRI safety procedures and imaging protocols
- Excellent patient care and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience and registration in additional imaging modalities preferred
- Experience with GE preferred
- Experience with Epic preferred
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred
