Full-Time MT or MLT Opportunity - Dothan, AL
Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
Connected Health Care, a leading recruitment and staffing firm, is partnered with a top-tier healthcare facility in Dothan, Alabama, to find a dedicated and skilled Medical Technologist (MT) or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT). Job Summary

Perform routine and specialized lab tests in chemistry, hematology, urinalysis, microbiology, immunohematology (blood bank), and serology

Work as a generalist with additional responsibilities in blood bank and microbiology

Operate and maintain laboratory instrumentation, primarily Beckman Coulter systems
-
Accurately analyze test results and ensure timely reporting to physicians and providers
-
Perform and assist with phlebotomy as needed
-
Use True Bridge (CPSI) LIS and EMR for lab documentation and result tracking
-
Follow laboratory protocols and comply with all regulatory and safety standards
Education and Certification Requirements

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or a related field
-
ASCP or AMT certification required
-
At least 1 year of clinical lab experience preferred

Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced hospital laboratory setting
