Full-Time Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) – Dothan, AL
Are you a dedicated RN with Medical-Surgical experience seeking a full-time opportunity in a supportive, patient-centered environment? Connected Health Care, a leading recruitment and staffing firm, is proud to partner with a respected healthcare facility in Dothan, AL to find a skilled Med-Surg RN ready to make an impact.
Job Responsibilities:
- Deliver compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to patients in a fast-paced med-surg unit
- Monitor patient status, administer medications, and coordinate with interdisciplinary teams
- Document patient care accurately and timely within the EMR system
- Educate patients and families regarding conditions, treatment plans, and post-discharge care
- Adhere to hospital protocols, safety standards, and infection control procedures
- Participate in unit performance improvement initiatives
Requirements:
- Active RN license in the state of Alabama (or compact license)
- Minimum 1 year of recent Medical-Surgical nursing experience
- Current BLS certification (AHA preferred)
- Strong critical thinking and organizational skills
- Ability to thrive in a team-based environment
