Connected Health Care is searching for a qualified MRI Technologist to join a renowned hospital health system located in West Haverstraw, New York. This full-time MRI technician role comes with an excellent salary, benefits package, and growth opportunities.

The MRI Technologist will perform procedures in accordance with departmental protocols and standards. This is a day shift position, operating MRI Scanners and associated equipment with a high level of proficiency.

To give you an idea of how this MRI Technologist role would look and feel, here are some responsibilities you can expect to take on:

• Examine requests and verify orders on each assigned patient
• Properly identify (Using two patient identifiers) and assist patients while offering a brief explanation of the procedures
• Interview patients for a complete medical history and review in-patients, ER, and outpatient EMRs to obtain pertinent clinical history
• Assume responsibility for the exam from the beginning of the exam until the completion of dictated results
• Prepare and administer IV contrast according to departmental protocols

To apply for this MRI Technologist role, you will need to be a graduate of a 2-year accredited school of Radiologic Technology, ARRT certified in Radiography & preferred MRI (or registry eligible for MRI), and have current BLS Certification. You must have a New York State license to apply.
