Full Time Nurse Manager – Outpatient Clinics (RN) – Aspen, Colorado

Connected Health Care, a premier recruitment and staffing firm, is partnering with a leading healthcare organization in Aspen, CO to find an experienced Nurse Manager – Outpatient Clinics (RN). This is a full-time leadership opportunity overseeing a diverse group of outpatient specialty clinics, including Primary Care, ENT, Ophthalmology, General Trauma Surgery (AVSS), and Cardiology.

Position Overview

The Nurse Manager – Outpatient Clinics provides leadership and assumes delegated responsibility for the day-to-day operations, staffing, and clinical excellence across multiple outpatient service lines. This role partners closely with senior leadership, using independent judgment to manage personnel, support a positive team culture, and ensure efficient, high-quality patient care while maintaining budgetary oversight.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of multiple outpatient clinics, ensuring smooth workflow and patient satisfaction
  • Lead, mentor, and develop nursing and clinical support staff
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory, accreditation, and safety standards
  • Collaborate with providers and leadership to optimize patient care delivery
  • Manage staffing schedules, productivity, and labor costs
  • Serve as a clinical resource and advocate for best practices in patient care
  • Support performance improvement initiatives and quality outcomes
  • Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and professional growth
  • Act as a care coordinator and change agent to enhance operational efficiency
  • Assist with budget planning, monitoring, and cost containment strategies

Minimum Qualifications & Requirements

  • Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
  • Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Colorado (or ability to obtain prior to start date)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (may be obtained upon hire)
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience as a Registered Nurse

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Master of Science in Nursing (MSN)
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
  • At least two (2) years of nursing leadership or management experience
  • Experience with EPIC electronic medical records system
  • Bilingual in Spanish
