Full-Time Perioperative Registered Nurse (RN) - Days - Newton, KS

Connected Health Care, a leading recruitment and staffing firm, is partnering with a top-tier facility in Newton, Kansas to find a dedicated and experienced Perioperative Registered Nurse (RN). This full-time opportunity is ideal for nurses who thrive in the fast-paced surgical environment and are passionate about delivering high-quality patient care throughout the perioperative process.

Job Description:

  • Provide pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative care to surgical patients

  • Prepare operating rooms and assist surgical teams with instruments and supplies

  • Monitor patients’ vital signs and responses during procedures

  • Ensure strict adherence to sterile techniques and safety protocols

  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered

  • Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals

  • Educate patients and families about procedures and recovery processes

  • Maintain accurate documentation in patient medical records

Education & Certification Requirements:

  • Active RN license in the state of Kansas

  • Associate or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (ASN or BSN)

  • BLS and ACLS certifications required

  • CNOR certification preferred but not required

  • Minimum of 1 year of perioperative nursing experience preferred

  • Excellent critical thinking and communication skills
