Job Description
As a Physical Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional rehabilitative care to patients of varying ages and needs. Responsibilities include:
- Evaluating and assessing patients to develop personalized treatment plans
- Implementing evidence-based therapy techniques to restore mobility, strength, and independence
- Collaborating with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
- Educating patients and families on exercises, lifestyle modifications, and preventive strategies
- Documenting patient progress and adjusting treatment plans as needed
- Maintaining compliance with state, federal, and organizational policies
Education and Certification Requirements
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Must hold a valid Physical Therapy (PT) license in the state of Texas
- BLS certification required (Advanced certifications welcomed but not mandatory)
- Pediatric experience is a plus
