Full-Time Psychiatry Physician - Schenectady, NY

Job Description:

  • Provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and diagnoses for patients with mental health disorders

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including medication management and psychotherapy

  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic and effective patient care

  • Conduct follow-up assessments and modify treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal patient outcomes

  • Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and coping strategies

  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient interactions in compliance with healthcare regulations

  • Participate in community outreach and educational initiatives to promote mental health awareness

Education & Certification Requirements:

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree from an accredited medical school

  • Board certification or eligibility in Psychiatry

  • Active medical license in New York State or eligibility for licensure

  • Completion of a Psychiatry residency program

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
