Location: Rancho Mirage, California

Position Overview
The Radiologic Technologist – Interventional / Cardiac Cath Lab plays a critical role in assisting cardiologists and interventional physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures. This position requires strong technical expertise, excellent patient care skills, and the ability to perform in a fast-paced procedural environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist physicians during cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures
- Scrub and circulate during diagnostic and therapeutic cardiac and vascular procedures
- Operate fluoroscopy and imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images
- Prepare sterile fields, instruments, and supplies for procedures
- Monitor patient status and maintain patient safety throughout procedures
- Ensure proper radiation safety protocols are followed for staff and patients
- Accurately document procedures, imaging data, and patient information
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and cath lab staff to maintain efficient workflow
- Participate in equipment quality assurance and maintenance protocols
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards
Education and Certification Requirements
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Radiologic Technology from an accredited program
- Active ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification required
- Current California Radiologic Technologist license required
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
- ACLS certification preferred
- Minimum 2 years of Radiologic Technologist experience required
- At least 1 year of scrubbing experience in a cardiac cath lab or interventional setting required
Preferred Skills
- Experience working in high-volume cardiac catheterization laboratories
- Strong knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy and interventional procedures
- Ability to work effectively in fast-paced procedural environments
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Strong attention to patient safety and radiation protection practices
