Full Time Ultrasound Technologist – Aspen, Colorado
Connected Health Care is partnering with a respected healthcare provider in Aspen, Colorado to recruit a Full Time Ultrasound Technologist. Job Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of diagnostic ultrasound examinations including abdominal, vascular, and cardiac imaging
- Prepare patients for ultrasound procedures by explaining the exam process and positioning them appropriately
- Operate and maintain ultrasound imaging equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images
- Review images to ensure diagnostic quality and provide preliminary technical findings to physicians
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation within the electronic medical record system
- Follow all sonography safety protocols and infection control standards
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and clinical staff to support accurate diagnoses and patient care
- Monitor patient comfort and safety throughout the imaging process
- Assist with equipment quality control and report maintenance needs as necessary
- Provide compassionate care and professional communication with patients and healthcare team members
Minimum Qualifications & Requirements
- Associate degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Diagnostic Ultrasound
- American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) – Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS)
- ARDMS – Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS)
- ARDMS – Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Strong knowledge of ultrasound imaging protocols and patient safety standards
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- RDMS – Breast (BR) specialty certification preferred
- Experience working in a hospital or outpatient imaging environment preferred
- Strong teamwork and patient care skills
