Full Time X-Ray Technician – Near Sedona, AZ
Connected Health Care, a leading recruitment and staffing firm, is partnering with a respected healthcare facility in Sedona, AZ to find a skilled Full Time X-Ray Technician. This role is perfect for a detail-oriented professional who is passionate about patient care and diagnostic imaging. Portable X-Ray experience is highly preferred.
Position Overview
As an X-Ray Technician, you will play a key role in supporting patient diagnosis and treatment through high-quality imaging services. You will work with a collaborative healthcare team while maintaining the highest standards of safety and accuracy.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray exams for patients in various clinical settings
- Conduct portable X-rays for patients unable to be transported, ensuring accurate and safe procedures
- Prepare and position patients to obtain optimal imaging results while prioritizing comfort and safety
- Maintain and calibrate radiology equipment to ensure consistent performance
- Adhere to all infection control, radiation safety, and compliance standards
- Document and process imaging results in patient records accurately
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other staff to support patient care plans
Education and Certification Requirements
- Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program required
- Current ARRT (R) certification required
- Arizona State Radiologic Technologist license required (or eligibility to obtain before hire)
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
- Portable X-ray experience strongly preferred
- Previous hospital or clinical imaging experience highly desirable
