Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and specialized laboratory tests on patient specimens.
• Analyze test results and interpret findings to support clinical decision-making.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all test results, specimens, and patient information.
• Ensure proper calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment and instruments.
• Comply with all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
• Assist in the training and mentoring of new laboratory staff as necessary.
• Work collaboratively with healthcare teams to provide timely, reliable diagnostic information.
• Perform troubleshooting and problem-solving on laboratory equipment when required.
• Uphold quality control standards and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Education & Certification Requirements:

• Associate’s Degree in Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Laboratory Technology, or a related field.
• Certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) through the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) or an equivalent certifying body.
• Current state licensure (if applicable).
• Previous experience in a clinical laboratory setting is preferred but not required.
• Strong understanding of laboratory procedures, equipment, and safety protocols.
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
