Job Title: Full-Time Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) - Newton, KS

Job Description: Connected Health Care is seeking a skilled and dedicated Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) to join our client’s team in Newton, KS. This is a full-time position, offering a fantastic opportunity to contribute to patient care in a supportive and dynamic environment. As a Medical Laboratory Technician, you will be responsible for performing laboratory tests, analyzing results, and ensuring the accuracy of diagnostic data. Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect and prepare laboratory specimens for analysis.
  • Perform laboratory tests and procedures accurately and efficiently.
  • Analyze and interpret test results, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of test results and patient information.
  • Ensure proper calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment.
  • Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to provide timely diagnostic information.
  • Assist in training and mentoring new laboratory staff as needed.
  • Adhere to all regulatory requirements, policies, and procedures.

Education & Certification Requirements:

  • Associate’s Degree in Clinical Laboratory Science or related field.
  • Certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) through the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) or equivalent certifying body.
  • Valid state licensure (if applicable).
  • Previous experience as an MLT in a clinical laboratory setting preferred but not required.
  • Strong knowledge of laboratory procedures, techniques, and safety protocols.
  • Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to work independently and in a team.
