Respiratory Therapy Director – Full Time | North of Great Falls, Montana

Connected Health Care, a premier recruitment and staffing firm, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Respiratory Therapy Director for one of our valued healthcare partners located north of Great Falls in Havre, Montana. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional looking to step into a key leadership role within a well-respected medical facility.


Position Overview

The Respiratory Therapy Director will lead all aspects of the respiratory department, ensuring the highest standards of care, compliance, and performance. The ideal candidate brings both strong clinical expertise and proven management skills to foster a collaborative, patient-focused environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide daily oversight and leadership for the Respiratory Therapy Department

  • Supervise, train, and evaluate respiratory therapy staff to ensure top-quality care

  • Develop and implement departmental goals, policies, and protocols

  • Manage budgeting, staffing, scheduling, and inventory control

  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams to support positive patient outcomes

  • Monitor and ensure compliance with all hospital, state, and federal regulations

  • Champion quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based practices

  • Stay informed of the latest advancements in respiratory care technology and methodologies


Qualifications

  • Education: Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field (Master’s preferred)

  • Licensure: Current RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) credential from the NBRC

  • Certification: Active Montana Respiratory Care Practitioner License (or eligibility to obtain)

  • Experience: Minimum of 3 of progressive clinical experience. No leadership experience required. 

  • Excellent communication, team-building, and problem-solving abilities
