Job Description:

• Patient Care: Assist in the implementation of individualized treatment plans for patients under the direction of an Occupational Therapist.
• Therapy Implementation: Conduct therapeutic activities and exercises to help patients regain or improve their physical, cognitive, and emotional health.
• Progress Monitoring: Monitor and document patient progress, and report changes to the Occupational Therapist.
• Patient Education: Educate patients and their families on exercises and activities to aid in their recovery.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and maintain accurate patient records.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive patient care.

Education and Certification Requirements:

• NM COTA License: Must have an active New Mexico Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant license.
