About the Role:

Connected Health Care is partnering with a reputable healthcare provider near Reno, NV, to find a skilled Full-Time Nuclear Medicine Technologist. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to advance their career in a supportive and advanced healthcare setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain nuclear medicine imaging equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
  • Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients according to prescribed procedures.
  • Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to analyze and interpret imaging results.
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and radiation protection standards.
  • Document patient information, imaging results, and radiopharmaceutical usage accurately.
  • Educate patients about procedures and provide support to ensure their comfort.
  • Perform routine maintenance and quality control on imaging equipment.

Education & Certification Requirements:

  • Associate’s degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or a related field required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Certification by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Nuclear Medicine.
  • Current state licensure as required by Nevada.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist in a clinical or hospital setting.
  • Strong technical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and patient care skills.
