Connected Health Care is partnering with a well-established healthcare provider in Fargo, ND, to hire a Full-Time Occupational Therapist. Job Description:
As a Full-Time Occupational Therapist, you will assess, plan, and provide therapeutic interventions to patients with physical, cognitive, or developmental conditions. You will help patients regain independence and improve their ability to perform daily activities. Working with an interdisciplinary team, you will be responsible for creating treatment plans, tracking progress, and ensuring patients achieve optimal outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to determine their occupational therapy needs.
- Develop individualized treatment plans that align with patient goals and healthcare needs.
- Implement therapeutic interventions aimed at improving motor skills, cognitive function, and daily living activities.
- Provide education and training to patients and their families on techniques to support continued progress.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to provide holistic care.
- Monitor and track patient progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Advocate for patients and ensure they have access to necessary resources and services.
Education and Certification Requirements:
- Master’s degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Current Occupational Therapy licensure in North Dakota.
- CPR/BLS certification.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in occupational therapy is preferred but not required.
