Connected Health Care is partnering with a well-respected healthcare provider in Minot, ND, to find a dedicated Full-Time Pediatric Occupational Therapist to join their growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with children and their families, helping them achieve milestones and improve their quality of life through skilled therapy services.
Job Description:
As a Pediatric Occupational Therapist in Minot, ND, you will work directly with children to evaluate, plan, and implement therapy programs that support developmental, motor, and sensory needs. You will make a significant impact on your patients' lives by helping them overcome challenges related to their daily activities and play.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of children’s physical, cognitive, and emotional development.
- Develop individualized treatment plans that support the child’s growth, learning, and ability to perform everyday tasks.
- Provide therapeutic interventions that enhance motor skills, sensory integration, and social interactions.
- Work closely with parents and caregivers to develop home programs and strategies that foster continued progress.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physical therapists, speech therapists, and educators, to provide holistic care.
- Maintain accurate, detailed, and timely documentation of patient progress and treatment plans.
- Participate in case discussions and share expertise with colleagues to ensure the best outcomes for patients.
Education and Certification Requirements:
- Master’s degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist in North Dakota.
- Pediatric Occupational Therapy experience preferred but not required.
- CPR/BLS certification.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with children, families, and colleagues.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team-based environment.
