Full-Time Physical Therapist – Inpatient | Near Wichita, KS

Connected Health Care is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Physical Therapist (PT) to join an inpatient rehabilitation team in Wichita, KS. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a supportive, patient-focused environment while making a difference in the lives of individuals recovering from injuries, surgeries, and other medical conditions.

Job Details

  • Position: Full-Time Inpatient Physical Therapist
  • Location: Newton, KS
  • Schedule: Monday – Friday (Day Shift)
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Setting: Inpatient

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and treatments to patients in an inpatient setting.
  • Develop and implement personalized rehabilitation plans to improve mobility, strength, and functional independence.
  • Work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists to optimize patient care.
  • Educate patients and families on rehabilitation techniques, safety, and home exercises.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient progress and treatment plans.
  • Utilize state-of-the-art equipment and evidence-based therapy techniques to ensure high-quality outcomes.

Education & Certification Requirements

  • Doctorate or Master's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
  • Active Kansas Physical Therapist License (or eligibility to obtain)
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification – Required
  • Experience in an inpatient or acute care setting – Preferred
  • Strong knowledge of rehabilitation techniques, injury prevention, and mobility restoration
