Job Description:

• Patient Treatment: Administer radiation therapy treatments to patients as prescribed by a radiation oncologist.
• Equipment Operation: Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment, ensuring patient safety and accurate delivery of treatment.
• Patient Care: Provide compassionate care to patients, including explaining procedures, addressing concerns, and ensuring comfort.
• Treatment Planning: Collaborate with the oncology team to develop and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed and accurate patient records, including treatment details and progress notes.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations, safety standards, and hospital policies.

Education and Certification Requirements:

• Radiation Therapist License: Must have an active national and state Radiation Therapist license.
