Full-Time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Days - Spearfish, SD

Connected Health Care is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time position in Spearfish, SD. If you have a passion for helping patients improve their communication and swallowing abilities, this opportunity is perfect for you!

Job Description:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs

  • Provide therapy to patients of all ages in a healthcare setting

  • Educate patients, families, and caregivers on treatment techniques and strategies

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and therapists, to ensure comprehensive patient care

  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with state and federal guidelines

  • Utilize innovative techniques and evidence-based practices to enhance patient outcomes

Education & Certification Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program

  • Active SLP license in South Dakota (or eligibility for licensure)

  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred

  • BLS certification required

  • Experience in a healthcare setting preferred but not required
