Job Description:

As a Speech-Language Pathologist in Lovington, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders in patients across a variety of settings. This role will involve working closely with multidisciplinary teams to create personalized treatment plans and achieve the best possible patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and swallowing disorders in pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs, goals, and assessments.
• Provide therapy for speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders.
• Document patient progress, treatment plans, and outcomes in accordance with clinic policies and state regulations.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care.
• Educate patients and their families on techniques and strategies for improving communication and swallowing.
• Participate in team meetings, case reviews, and continuing education opportunities.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA regulations.

Education & Certification Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in New Mexico.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• Previous experience in a clinical or healthcare setting is preferred, but not required.
